Roswell, GA (July 23, 2018)–Jonathan has joined CALYX Engineers and Consultants as utility services group manager in their Roswell, Georgia office. For the past 15 years, Jonathan has gained extensive experience managing municipal and private utility location projects that include Subsurface Utility Engineering Quality Levels A-D services. In addition, he is a registered geologist with vast expertise in conducting and managing various geophysical surveys, including ground penetrating radar surveys to accurately locate utilities, underground storage tanks, buried metallic infrastructure, gravesites, void and/or trash pit extents, and reinforcing steel/post tension cables/utility conduits within existing concrete surfaces. Jonathan also performs shearwave analysis, seismic refraction, and vibration monitoring surveys.

Jonathan’s first order of business is to grow his team of utility service technicians. The company recently purchased a third vacuum excavation truck and a sewer pipe inspection camera to meet the needs and demands of their clients.
Jonathan was raised in Lilburn, Georgia and is a graduate of the University of West Georgia in Carrollton. He and his wife, Melissa, now reside in Forsyth County, Georgia.
